make your mark this time

(no subject)

So we went out to dinner! And one person didn't show up, and one was insanely annoying (HINT: TOTALLY CHRISSY), but it was really really fun all the same.

I wasn't really planning on doing anything for Mother's Day, since, well, I like sleep and Mom likes sleep and generally we celebrate by sleeping even later than usual. But Dad decided to be a total passive-aggressive asshole and ruin most of her day, especially when they and Arman went out to brunch, so on my way back from dinner I bought her a bouquet of roses and some chocolate. ... And a Jesus card. I doodled a little stick figure catching a soccer ball in front of a net inside with the caption "Jesus saves!," which she appreciated.

I was up until about 9 or 10 this morning writing a character study, which I immediately decided I hate. And I spent way too much money today! But I still feel very nice and lovely. So. Yes.
